It is fabulous out there today. SunDog brought us fresh corduroy on Sawdust Loop, Wimp Way, Possum, Strawberry, Last Chance, Smiles, Challenge and Bow Wow and Loop De Doo.
Twain SES Kids are out today too – but everyone is welcome. Get that fresh corduroy all scratched up! |

WOW – some great early springlike conditions at the trails this week – warm and sunny and then some great powder snow as a bonus. I had everything from fluffy bunny powder to sticky marshmallow sungoo to wicked ice crust today. And all that was within a 2 kilometer stretch. I am not complaining though! |

Silverthorne Lake is beginning to set up good for some skate skiing later on. Some classic skiers are already taking advantage of it.

Fresh this morning on all the usual stuff: Sawdust, Mainline, Possum, Strawberry, Challenge, Smiles, Last Chance, Bow Wow as well as Around the Lake (Wish I Hadn’t, Porky’s) Bob Creek, Ho Hum and all that. Just about everything except Trespass this time. |

-28C at noon. Too cold for the groomer (and probably skiers).
There is only 1-2 inches of fresh snow over our last grooming on Tuesday of last week if you are particularily warm blooded.
There will not be any grooming until temps go back to mid teens or warmer. |
